Call for Papers

This conference will explore ‘the state of the art’ and transition pathways for the future through papers on implementation and case studies, leading edge research and the policy and regulatory environment needed to facilitate a shift toward Water Sensitive Cities and Settlements.

How can I become a Presenter?

The abstract submission date has now closed.

For more details, see the Call for Papers and Expression of Interest brochure and Application Form. All abstracts were required to follow the below guidelines:

Use the Abstract Proforma which you can download here.
Be emailed to keynote@keynotewa.com with the email subject title being ‘WSUD 09 Abstract’.
To be received by the Conference Secretariat by Friday 7th November 2008.
Be approximately 300–500 words in length.

Please ensure that the proforma cover clearly indicates the abstract title, presenting author’s name, contact details and any associated authors. All applications will be advised of the program committee’s decision on their submission by late November 2008. All accepted papers will be refereed, peer reviewed and published in full.

The Conference Program Committee will ensure that those papers seeking to be considered as "research publications" will be "refereed" in accordance with academic guidelines.

Speaker Requirements

All applications that are offered a position within the program must agree to provide the below material to the Conference Secretariat:

• A completed paper for the proceedings by Friday 27 March 2009.

• A current electronic photo.

• A completed speakers information kit which will include:

a short biography,
a statement of audio visual requirements,
a signed form providing authority to publish your paper in the Conference Proceedings for no additional benefit.
