SSEE Conference 2007

International Conference on Engineering Sustainability
DATE:

31 October - 2 November 2007

LOCATION: Sheraton Perth Hotel, Perth, Western Australia

Welcome

Welcome to Engineering Sustainability SSEE2007, the international conference of the Society for Sustainability and Environmental Engineering.

Sustainability has arrived as the major driving force for innovation and development in the twenty-first century.

This conference is a showcase for the role of engineering in delivering sustainable outcomes. An outstanding program of international and local speakers, presenting solutions to some of our most pressing problems - this is not to be missed!

Keynote speakers will present examples of international best practice on topics including:

  • Impacts of Climate Change
  • Cleaner production and zero emissions
  • Sustainable Water Management
  • Energy efficiency and conservation
  • Sustainable Urban Development
  • Sustainability Assessment and Reporting

For those that have received no formal training in sustainability, this conference is an opportunity to learn how leading organisations and practitioners are implementing sustainability in their work.

And what better time to bring this conference to Perth. While the Western Australian economy continues to grow at unprecedented rates, the State Government is implementing Australia’s first State Sustainability Strategy, encouraging industry to apply sustainability principles to some of Australia’s largest projects.

The Conference has support from the Government of Western Australia, City of Perth and the business community. The Premier of WA and the Lord Mayor of City of Perth invite you to attend the Conference.

We invite you to join us in Perth in November 2007 for SSEE2007.
